Pastoral Plan Objectives for Sacred Heart (Ingersoll)
On Pentecost Sunday, 2004, Bishop Ronald P. Fabbro, C.S.B. promulgated a Pastoral Plan for
the Diocese of London. In the months that followed, each parish, deanery and diocesan office

As living signs of Christ's presence, we will respond to the call to personal holiness given to all by committing ourselves to opportunities for ongoing conversion and spiritual renewal. |

To form a Bible study group with weekly meetings focusing on a deeper understanding of scripture and spiritual growth. |

Called by Christ, we will evangelize through the clear proclamation of the Gospel and the constant teaching of the Catholic faith, assuring that such proclamation and teaching is linked to the life experience of the people. |

Creating rosary apostalates in grade schools. All classes grade 2 through 8 learn to pray the Rosary and learn about the mysteries of Jesus' life. One hour class monthly for each grade. |

With our sights set on the mission of Jesus, we will minister with justice and compassion to the wounded, the searching, the entrapped, and those in material and spiritual need. |

Parish mission on " Experiencing The love Of The Risen Lord." We have not experienced a mission here at Sacred Heart in approximately 20 years, our objective is to awaken us spiritually, help prepare us for advent, deepen our faith and lead us to the sacrament of reconciliation. |

As the Body of Christ, formed by word and sacrament, we will make provision for meaningful liturgical celebrations in our parish communities to ensure full, conscious, and active participation by all. |

To experience a 40 hour Devotion to the Blessed Sacrament with Adoration, Benediction, Mass and speakers to make presentations on the Year of the Eucharist. |

Inviting all to co-responsible ministry, we will encourage and support the ongoing formation of laity, religious, and ordained. |

Imitating Christ the servant-leader, we will employ and model governance practices at all levels that seek to: meet the needs of Godís people, support the Churchís mission, ensure appropriate participation in decision-making by the laity, religious and ordained, uphold Gospel stewardship, and promote accountability and transparency. |

To organize a team of parishioners to travel with other parishes to Haiti. To foster a spirit of social justice within our parish community so that all are involved, and to bring home that experience in a way that all may benefit. |
