Help us to treat each other with respect and not to take each other for granted. Help us to decide if we are meant to share our lives forever.
Give us the wisdom to face ourselves and each other with honesty. When we must confront each other, let us speak the truth in love.
Remind us that every moment together is precious, and that our love is much more important than wedding details. Keep our sense of humour alive and well during these harried days of preparation.
As we look forward to the life we will create together, may we have the strength to be true to each other in sickness and health, in riches and poverty, and in sadness and joy.
